Background
This bill will amend the transitional provisions of the Zoning Ordinance to eliminate the Food or Beverage Store use under the prior ordinance, and will amend the definition of the existing convenience store use to prohibit convenience stores from selling tobacco and tobacco-related products. The bill includes amortization periods for impacted existing uses to allow them to adjust to the new requirements.
