Background Necessitating Legislation:
The LDR for a short-term delay in the implementation of the universal design requirements that begin July 1, 2026, that apply just for multi-family, has already been submitted. It was assigned to Kathy Canning. This LDR is to draft the needed updated language, working with DPIE and the CEX, to modify the existing law as is applies to the universal design requirements for multi-family.
