Title

Background

This Charter Amendment bill proposes an amendment to Section 603, of the Charter of Prince George's County to provide that certain single purchases or contracts shall be made from or let by sealed bids with certain exceptions.  This Charter Amendment bill also provides that purchases and contracts shall be advertised in the County’s newspapers of record and provides for replacing cost with best value with competitive bidding.
