Committee Vote: Favorable, 3-0 (In Favor: Council Members Lehman, Glaros, & Turner)
Section 24-141 of the County Code requires that the Planning Board shall provide an opportunity for the County Executive, the County Council, and affected municipalities to comment on the continuation of reservation plats prior to expiration. The Planning Board, by letter dated February 23, 2015, requested the Council's comments on three (3) reservation plats that are due to expire on June 30, 2015.
Mr. Thomas Masog, M-NCPPC Transportation Planning Section, indicated that all three (3) reservations were established for facilities recommended in the adopted and approved Master Plans and that all three property owners consented to the additional one (1) year continuation of the reservations.
The Committee reviewed the reservation plats and supports the Planning staff recommendation of a one (1) year continuation on the three (3) reservations.
