Title
A Resolution approving a revised planning and administration budget and staffing plan for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (“NSP”)
Background
On March 24, 2009, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) approved the NSP Substantial Amendment allowing the Prince George’s County Department of Housing and Community Development to use NSP funds for eligible costs associated with down payment and closing cost assistance, acquisition, rehabilitation, housing counseling, planning, and administration in the amount of $10,883,234. In order to adequately staff the NSP initiative and to ensure that HUD’s performance measures and timeliness requirements are met, this resolution approves an increase in the planning and administration budget and a revised staffing plan.
