A RESOLUTION CONCERNING A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WORKGROUP for the purpose of establishing a Domestic Violence Workgroup and providing the purpose and objectives of the Workgroup, defining the composition of the Workgroup, and requiring the issuance of a report regarding domestic violence prevention and response in Prince George’s County.

 

Background

Prince George's County is no exception to the public health crisis that is domestic violence and this resolution will create a WorkGroup that will provide assistance to the County in creating a strategic plan to better handle domestic violence within the County. The resolution provides the purpose and objectives of the WorkGroup. This resolution also defines the composition of the WorkGroup and mandates the issuance of a report regarding domestic violence prevention and improving victim support in Prince George’s County.
