Title

AN ACT CONCERNING AMENDMENT OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT PRINCE GEORGE’S CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. (PGCOA) (CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS) for the purpose of amending the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s Correctional Officers’ Association, Inc. to add a provision to increase the Shift Differential amounts under Article 26, paragraph A, that was omitted from the Collective Bargaining Agreement previously approved as CB-59-2025.

Background

This bill will provide for increases to the Shift Differential that was agreed to during the FY2025-FY2026 negotiations between the County and PGCOA under Article 26, but was omitted from the CBA previously enacted as CB-59-2025.  Due to this omission, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) needs to be amended at this time.

A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.
