Title

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ZONING-DEFINITIONS-GRADUATE STUDENT HOUSING for the purpose of defining a new use, “Graduate Student Housing,” within the Zoning Ordinance in order to incentivize residential development along specific transit station lines, and in furtherance of realizing the policies approved within the Prince George's County Comprehensive Housing Strategy.

 

Background

This bill will define a new use, "Graduate Student Housing," in the Zoning Ordinance and provide for the use, subject to certain circumstances, in furtherance of incentivizing strategic residential development near Purple Line stations while meeting market demand for townhouse and multifamily dwelling-type units, as set forth within the Prince George's County Comprehensive Housing Strategy.
