Title A Resolution designating the Prince George’s County Police Department as the Primary Law Enforcement Unit for Prince George’s County to receive records in accordance with Annotated Code of Maryland, Business Regulations Article, Section 17-1011(b) Background This resolution designates the Prince George’s County Police Department as the Primary Law Enforcement Unit for Prince George’s County to receive records in accordance with Annotated Code of Maryland, Business Regulations Article, Section 17-1011(b). In the 2010 Legislative Session, the Maryland General Assembly amended the Business Regulation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to require counties and municipalities to designate, by resolution, the Primary Law Enforcement Unit for the purpose of receiving records required under the State’s regulation of Junk Dealers and Scrap Metal Processors.
