Title: A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE 2014 SOUTHERN GREEN LINE STATION AREA SECTOR PLAN AND SECTIONAL MAP AMENDMENT - MINOR PLAN AMENDMENT - APPROVAL for the purpose of approving, in accordance with the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of Prince George’s County, Maryland, a Minor Plan Amendment to amend the 2014 Southern Green Line Station Area Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment to include recommendations from the 2013 Central Branch Avenue Corridor Revitalization Plan that are specific to the length of Suitland Road which serves as a shared boundary between both plan areas.

Background

Section 27-3502 of the local zoning laws provides a process by which an approved Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment may be revised, subject to notice and hearing provisions. This Resolution will approve, in accordance with the County Zoning Ordinance, a Minor Amendment to the 2014 Southern Green Line Station Area Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment in order to incorporate the development and growth policies for the Suitland Road Corridor set forth in the approved 2013 Central Branch Avenue Corridor Revitalization Sector Plan.
