Title

AN ACT CONCERNING ILLEGAL VENDING PENALTIES AND REMOVAL OF GOODS for the purpose of strengthening enforcement against unlawful sidewalk and right-of-way vending within the County; prompting immediate removal of goods when vendors fail to comply; and increasing penalties for illegal vending.

 

Background

This bill strengthens enforcement against illegal vending on sidewalks and within the public right-of-way in Prince George's County by updating the County's vending rules. This bill increases penalties for unlawful roadside/right-of-way sales, including escalating fines for repeat offenses, and clarifies that violations can result in the immediate removal of goods and equipment.
