Title A Resolution approving the application by CASA of Maryland, Inc. for funding through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Community Legacy Financial Assistance Fund Background CASA of Maryland, Inc. (CASA), a nonprofit organization, has applied for funding in the amount of $300,000 to fund the renovation of the McCormick-Goodhart Mansion through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Community Legacy Financial Assistance Fund. The McCormick-Goodhart Mansion is a Prince George’s County Historic Site located in the Langley Park area. CASA proposes to rehabilitate the site to house its Multicultural Service Center to serve the low-income immigrant community in the County. The State of Maryland requires local legislative support for each Community Legacy Program application in unincorporated areas.
