Title

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ILLEGAL SIGNS for the purpose of extending a rebuttable presumption for the enforcement of illegal signs in a County right-of-way, and generally regarding illegal signs.

Background

This bill amends current law regarding illegal signs by providing for a rebuttable presumption for the enforcement of illegal signs in a County right-of-way. This means that unless rebutted by competent evidence, any such sign or poster illegally placed in the County right-of-way shall be presumed to be owned by and attached by the person whose business name, business address, business telephone, or trademark is contained on the face of the sign or poster.
