Title A Resolution amending Salary Schedule G to provide an increase in the minimum wage rate by six percent (6%) and maximum wage rate by seventeen percent (17%), effective July 1, 2007; a cost of living increase of two and one-half percent (2.5%), effective the first full pay period in July 2007; and other modified benefits for General Schedule employees Background This Resolution amends the Salary Plan for Salary Schedule G – General Schedule Employees and provides a minimum wage rate adjustment of six percent (6%) and a maximum wage rate adjustment of seventeen percent (17%) on July 1, 2007. It also provides for a cost of living increase of two and one-half percent (2.5%) effective the first full pay period of July 2007 and other modified benefits for General Schedule employees. The Office of Management and Budget will provide the fiscal impact report. The County Executive submitted the proposed salary plan amendments to the County Council on July 23, 2007. Pursuant to Section 903 of the Charter, if the Council fails to take final action on the proposed salary plan before September 21, 2007, the salary plan shall stand approved.
