Title

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PRIVATE LIMOUSINE SERVICE DISPATCHING STATIONS IN THE I-3 ZONE for the purpose of clarifying the requirements set forth in the Zoning Ordinance for Private Limousine Service Dispatching Stations, a permitted use in the I-3 (Planned Industrial − Employment Park) Zone, under certain specific circumstances.

Background

 CB-87-2015 amended Subtitle 27 of the Prince George’s County Code in order to define Private Limousine Service Dispatching Stations within the Zoning Ordinance and to permit the use in the I-3 (Planned Industrial - Employment Park) Zones of the County.  This bill refines that enactment in order to clarify the intent of the Council in enacting CB-87-2015 to permit, and to exempt from any site plan approval process prescribed by Subtitle 27, those uses in existence on November 1, 2015, that meet the prescriptions of Sections 27-107.01 and 27-473 of the Zoning Ordinance, provided that no new development to expand the use is proposed on the site that requires issuance of a County building permit.
