Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FISCAL YEAR (“FY”) 2026 - 2030 CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the purpose of approving and adopting the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2026 - 2030 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development (the “Consolidated Plan”).

Background

This legislation will approve and adopt the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2026 - 2030 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”)’s Office of Community Planning and Development, requires Prince George’s County, as a recipient of federal entitlement grant funds, develop a Consolidated Plan every five years, which outlines and identifies the County’s goals and use of the grant funds.  The County is the recipient of entitlement funds under three federal entitlement programs covered by the Consolidated Plan: Community Development Block Grant Program (“CDBG”), HOME Investment Partnerships (“HOME”) Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grants (“ESG”) Program.
