Background

The Landlord-Tenant Code will now require that landlords provide notice of dispossession to tenants that meets certain specific requirements. Tenants will now be protected from landlords that retaliate against them by terminating utilities and services. In addition, the Code will protect tenants by providing sanctions against landlords that make false representations about tenants' rights.
