An Act increasing certain fees for services, permits and licenses rendered by the Health Department’s Division of Environmental Health
Background
The Health Department collects numerous fees for permits, licenses, certifications, approvals and functions carried out by the Health Department’s Division of Environmental Health. The fee schedule includes amounts charged for food service facilities and manager certifications, public swimming pools, septic systems, plan reviews, percolation tests and contractor licenses. The last significant increases to the fee schedule occurred in 1992, 1994 and 1996. In addition, some new fees will be established. The additional funds that will be generated have been included in the Health Department’s FY2005 budget.
