A Resolution declaring certain properties of County-Owned Real Property as surplus, and approving the County Executive’s plan for disposal of such parcels
Background
This resolution will declare 19 parcels of County-owned real property as surplus to the County’s needs and propose disposition of these parcels by lease, sale, transfer or otherwise. There are ten (10) parcels to be sold for not less than fair market value, one (1) parcel transferred to the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County, one (1) parcel transferred to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), one (1) parcel to be leased to the University of Maryland, College Park, four (4) parcels to be transferred to non-profits to be used for charitable purposes, one (1) parcel transferred back to the owner after extinguishment of a debt to the County and one (1) parcel transferred in exchange for land necessary for the expansion of a public road.
