Title A Resolution concerning Adjustments to Approved Position Grades for the purpose of adjusting the number of positions in certain grades in the Department of Corrections Background This Resolution amends the Position by Grade Attachment (Attachment B) to the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for FY 2008-2009, (CB-28-2008 as amended in CR-95-2008), for the Department of Corrections to merge 412 positions from D21 to D24 into one band; merge D25 (Sergeant) and D26 (Master Sergeant) into one band and add nine (9) positions to this band; decrease D27 (Lieutenant) by 2 positions; merge D29 (Captain) and D33 (Major) into one band and eliminate seven (7) positions in this band; add one (1) position to G29 (Administrative Specialist I); eliminate one (1) position from G31 (Administrative Specialist II).
