The proposed Charter amendments will provide a statement of the County’s policy to encourage and support local and minority business in the County, amend the time for Council consideration of the proposed County budget, provide that the annual budget document contain forecasts of goods and services that would necessitate competitive bidding, and provide that reports of certain positions in the exempt service be submitted semi-annually.
