A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FISCAL YEAR 2020 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the purpose of amending the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2020 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development by adding eligible Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Program activities not originally funded or described in the FY 2020 Annual Action Plan, and the reprogramming and reallocating of two million, eighty seven thousand, eight hundred seventy eight dollars and sixty-six cents ($2,087,878.66) in Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds from the County FY 2014, FY 2015, FY 2016, FY 2017, FY 2018 and FY 2019 Annual Action Plans funds to support the activities.
Background
This Resolution will amend the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2020 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development by adding new CDBG activities, eligible activities not originally funded or described in the FY 2020 Annual Action Plan.
Additionally, this Resolution will amend the FY 2020 Annual Action Plan by reprogramming and reallocating two million, eighty seven thousand, eight hundred seventy eight dollars and sixty-six cents ($2,087,878.66) in Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Program funds from the FY 2014, FY 2015, FY 2016, FY 2017, FY 2018 and FY 2019 Annual Action Plans to support the project.
This Resolution requires at least one (1) public hearing because the proposed amendment to the FY 2020 Annual Action Plan would constitute a “substantial change” under the FY 2016-2020 County Citizen Participation Plan, as described in the County’s FY 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan.
