Background
This resolution would prohibit the issuance of any building, grading, or use and occupancy permit for a convenience store use, as prescribed in the Zoning Ordinance for a period of one year. It would also request that the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, in collaboration with the Department of Health and the Prince George’s Police Department, conduct a study analyzing the effects of the saturation of convenience stores in Council District 7.
