Background
The Redevelopment Authority is proposing a $26,241,000 million six-year capital improvement program, including seven revitalization projects throughout the County. This resolution approves the proposed Fiscal Year 2005 capital budget in the amount of $13.0 million for six projects, as follows:
Gateway Arts District - $957,000
Palmer Park Senior Village - $1,515,000
Suitland Manor - $4,169,000
Addison Road/ Capitol Heights Metro Corridor - $1,000,000
Peace Cross Area Redevelopment - $200,000
International Corridor - $4,000,000
County Revitalization - $1,200,000
The Redevelopment Authority is required to submit its proposed operating budget to the Council for comments. This resolution states the Council's concurrence in the Authority's proposed FY 2005 operating budget of $2,890,654.
