Background

This is an act concerning annual inspection of certain residential rental properties; requiring the use of a standard form lease and applicable optional provisions for certain residential rental properties; requiring the publication of certain information related to rental housing; requiring the Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement (DPIE) to review certain rent increases; providing for certain remedies to be awarded by the Nuisance Abatement Board; and providing certain rights to tenants facing rent increases.
