Title
A Resolution concerning the State of Maryland Neighborhood and Community Assistance Program for the purpose of expressing approval of the project submitted by CASA of Maryland, Inc., to the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for participation in the Department’s Community Investment Tax Credit Program
Background
CASA of Maryland, Inc. (“CASA”), a nonprofit organization, has applied for approval of a project to renovate the McCormick-Goodhart Mansion for participation in the Community Investment Tax Credit Program operated by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, Neighborhood and Community Assistance Program. The McCormick-Goodhart Mansion is a Prince George’s County Historic Site located in the Langley Park area. CASA proposes to rehabilitate the site to house its Multicultural Service Center to serve the low-income immigrant community in the County. The State of Maryland requires local legislative support for participation in the Program.
