Background

This is a Charter Amendment bill to amend Section 815 of the Charter of Prince George's County to provide that during any fiscal year, no agency of County government may exceed the number of positions for that agency as approved in the operating budget without the prior approval of the Council. This question will appear on the ballot at the 2024 General Election on November 5, 2024.
