An Act restoring provisions that were deleted from the Personnel Law pertaining to longevity increases in certain circumstances
Background
In the 2000 revisions to the Personnel Law, the section pertaining to longevity increases was repealed. The proposed legislation would reinstate a single longevity increase for employees in grade 19 or below who have at least 28 years of service and who have been at the top of the salary schedule for an extended period of time.
