Title

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING FARMER’S MARKETS for the purpose of amending the definition of Farmer’s Markets in the Zoning Ordinance and requirements for Farmer’s Markets as a temporary use in Prince George’s County.

Background

This bill amends the definition of Farmer's Markets in the Zoning Ordinance to comport with provisions of State law, separates the regulatory requirements as a temporary use in Section 27-261 from the requirements applicable to flea markets, and repeals the various requirements for farmer's markets from Part 3 of the Zoning Ordinance in contemplation of their transfer to Subtitle 5 of the Prince George's County Code via a companion bill under concurrent consideration by the Council (CB-67-2016).
