Proposed letter to Segun C. Eubanks, Ed.D., Chair, Prince George's County Board of Education reagarding the FY 2015 BOE Operating Budget Transfer Request.
Background
The Board of Education's FY 2015 Approved Budget reconciliation request appropriation transfers of $13,684,355 between major expenditure categories. The transfer request includes the School System's Chief Executive Officer's recommended reconciliation actions. The Board of Education's total budget does not change from the FY 2015 County approved level of $1,795,250,300 as a result of the transfer request. Appropriations are requested to be increased in twelve major categories and two (2) major categories will have appropriated amounts decreased. The most significant increases in appropriation occur within the Administration, Mid-Level Administration, Textbooks and Instructional Materials, and Instructional Salaries major categories. Significant appropriation decreases occur within the Other Instructional Costs and Fixed Charges major categories.
