Title
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING C-O ZONE for the purpose of permitting certain residential development within the C-O (Commercial - Office) Zone, under certain specified circumstances.
Background
This bill will permit development of certain kinds of residential dwelling units, specifically Townhouses, Two-Family Dwelling Units, and Multifamily Units, within the C-O (Commerical - Office) Zone, provided the property proposed for development meets certain size and location requirements, as well as as other regulatory requirements through a Detailed Site Plan approval process.
10/18/2016 - Prior to introduction, a motion was made by Council Member Davis; seconded by Council Member Turner to amend CB-78-2016 (DR-2) as follows:
1. On page 2 in footnote 64(C), after "3/4 of a mile from a metro station", insert ", but does not include property within the boundaries off a sector plan approved prior to October 1, 2016."
The motion carried by a vote of 9-0. CB-78-2016 (DR-3) was introduced.
