AN ACT CONCERNING LABOR- MINIMUM WAGE WAIVER for the purpose of amending the Code to specify waiver provisions to the Prince George’s County, Maryland’s minimum wage rate for Developmental Disability Administration (“DDA”) providers.
Background
Prince George's County, Maryland put forth and enacted CB-94-2013, which increased the minimum wage for employees in the County. This bill is currently codified in Sec. 13A-117 of the Prince George's County Code. This legislation proposes to add a waiver provision for Developmental Disabilities Administration Providers within Prince George's County, Maryland.
