Need by Date: As Soon as Possible
Background Necessitating Legislation:
Convenience stores and tobacco have to be more than 1 mile apart. There is an issue with
convenience stores and tobacco stores over saturating the community. Oftentimes there are 2-3
in each shopping center. Convenience stores should be 1 mile or more apart to avoid
overcrowding our neighborhoods with these establishments and all convenience stores that
don’t qualify as tobacco stores need to close at 10pm.
