Title
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COUNTY'S MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTIONS CONTRACTS for the purpose of granting authority to the Purchasing Agent to extend the County's existing Municipal Solid Waste Collections Contracts and to achieve the greatest efficiencies and optimal collection service at a cost savings to the County.
Background
This legislation will grant authority to the Purchasing Agent to extend the County's existing Municipal Solid Waste Collections Contracts and to achieve the greatest efficiencies and optimal collection service at a cost savings to the County.  Such newly consolidated contracts are expected to provide estimated cost savings of approximately $2 million annually and avoid an increase in the Solid Waste Service Charge.
