Title

AN ACT CONCERNING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT - DEPUTY SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, INC. for the purpose of amending the labor agreement by and between Prince George's County, Maryland and the Deputy Sheriff's Association of Prince George's County, Inc., to provide for wages and certain other terms and conditions of employment for personnel classifications certified by the Prince George's County Public Employee Relations Board.

Background

The Deputy Sheriff's Association of Prince George's County, Inc. and Prince George's County, Maryland have completed labor negotiations on a one-year labor agreement covering Fiscal Year 2016.  This bill is to adopt and approve the referenced collective bargaining agreement in accordance with Section 16-233(f) of the Personnel Law.  A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.
