A RESOLUTION CONCERNING PILOT AGREEMENT FOR THE CARILLON PROJECT for the purpose of approving the terms and conditions of a negotiated Payment in Lieu of Taxes (“PILOT”) Agreement between Prince George’s County, Maryland (“County”) and RPAI Capital Centre II, L.L.C., an affiliate of Retail Properties of America, Inc. (“Developer”) for the Carillon Project.

 

Background

This Resolution is approving the terms and conditions of Payment in Lieu of Taxes (“PILOT”) Agreement between Prince George’s County, Maryland (the “County”) and RPAI Capital Centre II, L.L.C. (the “Owner and Developer”) concerning The Carillon Project. The project includes 1,493 multi-family units, 183 condominium units, 248,460 square-feet of retail space, 719,000 square-feet of office space, 300 hotel rooms and 5,404 parking spaces.
