Title

AN ACT CONCERNING BUILDING PERMIT EXEMPTIONS for the purpose of allowing certain limited renovations to establishments originally constructed prior to November 29, 1949, without a building permit, under certain circumstances.

 

Background

This bill is companion legislation. It amends the provisions of Subtitle 4 of the Prince George's County Code to reflect certain amendments to Subtitle 27 (County Zoning Ordinance) by way of CB-60-2017. CB-60-2017 is an Ordinance to clarify the legislative intent of the Council in enacting CB-95-2016, which expressly allows certain renovations to buildings constructed prior to November 29, 1949, in accordance with the prescriptions of a validly issued alcoholic beverage license issued by the Board of License Commissioners for Prince George's County pursuant to Title 26, Alcoholic Beverages Article,  Annotated Code of Maryland.

 

NOTE:                       SECTION 2 of CB-120-2017 provides that this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect after January 1, 2019.
