Background
Prince George’s County, Maryland and Council 67, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (“AFSCME”), AFL-CIO, and its affiliated Locals 2462, 2735, 3389 and 1170 have completed labor negotiations for a one-year labor agreement covering Fiscal Year 2016. This Bill is to adopt and approve the referenced collective bargaining agreement in accordance with Section 16-233(f) of the Prince George’s County Code. A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.
