Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITIES SURCHARGE for the purpose of approving a partial waiver of the public safety facilities surcharge for all residential units of the mixed-use Homes at Oxon, a project of the Homes at Oxon Hill Limited Partnership (“Homes at Oxon Hill”).

 

Background

This project is located within several priority areas, as designated by the County and the State, and its proximity to the Southern Avenue Green Line Metro and Bus Station demonstrates its potential for fulfilling County transit-oriented development goals. Lastly, the Project will provide 163 senior households, including at least 147 senior households earning 60% of AMI or less, access to well-connected and amenity-rich housing options in Oxon Hill.

 

This resolution seeks the approval of the County Council to authorize a 60% waiver of public safety surcharge for the Homes at Oxon Hill Project
