Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS, FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE, PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY LODGE 89, INC. SALARY SCHEDULE L for the purpose of amending the Salary Plan of the County to reflect the terms of the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Fraternal Order of Police, Prince George’s County Lodge 89, Inc.

 

Background

This is companion legislation to the bill to approve the collective bargaining agreement between Prince George’s County, Maryland and Fraternal Order of Police, Prince George’s County Lodge 89, Inc., for Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018.  This resolution reflects modifications to the agreement.  A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.

 

The proposed salary plan amendments were submitted to the County Council by the County Executive on March 1, 2017.  Pursuant to Section 903 of the Charter, if the Council fails to take final action on the proposed salary plan before April 30, 2017, the salary plan shall stand approved.
