Title: AN ACT CONCERNING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT PRINCE GEORGE’S CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. Title

AN ACT CONCERNING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT PRINCE GEORGE’S CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. (CIVILIAN UNIT) for the purpose of approving the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Prince George’s Correctional Officers’ Association, Inc. (PGCOA) (Civilian Unit) to provide for wages and certain other terms and conditions of employment for personnel classifications certified by the Prince George’s County Public Employee Relations Board and as amended by the Office of Human Resources Management from time to time.

 

Background

Prince George's County, Maryland and the Prince George’s Correctional Officers’ Association (Civilian Unit) have completed labor negotiations on a two-year labor agreement covering Fiscal Year 2025 and Fiscal Year 2026.  This Bill is to adopt and approve the referenced collective bargaining agreement in accordance with Section 16-233(f) of the Personnel Law.

 

A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.
