AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING FARMER’S MARKETS OPERATIONS for the purpose of clarifying the method of operations at Farmer’s Markets.
Background
To clarify regulations for Farmer's Markets operations.
4/2/2019:
CB-4-2019 (DR-2) was amended on the floor as follows:
1. Page 2, Line 4, Change “Prior to vending at a Farmer’s Market, a vendor” to “A Farmer’s Market vendor”.
2. Page 2, Line 7, remove “or CA Fire Marshal Seal compliant tent”.
3. Page 2, Line 11, Insert after “do not” the following “use heating sources or open flame or”.
4. Page 2, Lines 14 thru 15, remove “larger than 400 square feet utilized”.
5. Page 2, Line 17, remove “not”.
6. Page 2, Line 18, Change “Markets” to “Market vendors if generators are used that are required to be grounded per manufacturing specifications or if other temporary structures other than tents (i.e. stages and platforms) are used at the market”.
CB-4-2019 (DR-3) was introduced.
5/7/2019:
CB-4-2019 (DR-3) was amended on the floor as follows:
Amendment No. 1 - On page 2, Lines 20 and 21, change "forty-five (45) calendar days after" to "on the date of".
Amendment No. 2 - On page 2, Lines 18 and 19, add "or if an individual tent is larger than 400 square feet" after "market".
CB-4-2019 (DR-4) was enacted.
