Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN for the purpose of adopting an updated County-wide Hazard Mitigation Plan as required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to remain eligible for Federal mitigation assistance for natural disasters.

 

Background

Pursuant to the requirements of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, this Resolution adopts the Prince George’s County 2018 Hazard Mitigation Plan.  This updated plan is required by FEMA to remain eligible for federal mitigation assistance for natural hazards.
