Title

AN ACT CONCERNING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT - THE DEPUTY SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, INC. (CIVILIAN UNITS) for the purpose of approving the labor agreement by and between Prince George's County, Maryland and The Deputy Sheriffs Association of Prince George's County, Inc. (Civilian Units), to provide for wages and certain other terms and conditions of employment for personnel classifications certified by the Prince George's County Public Employee Relations Board.

 

Background

Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Deputy Sheriffs Association of Prince George’s County, Inc. (Civilian Units) have completed labor negotiations on a two year labor agreement covering Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018.  This bill is to adopt and approve the referenced collective bargaining agreement in accordance with Section 16-233(f) of the Prince George’s County Code.  A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.

 

CB-113-2017 is retroactively effective to July 1, 2016.
