Title: A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY STREET VENDING PILOT PROGRAM for the purpose of encouraging the Department of Permitting Inspection and enforcement, Economic Development Corporation and Health Department to develop a comprehensive program on certain streets in Prince George’s County where street vending is allowed and a more streamlined process following health concerns for street foods. Background

The purpose of this legislation is to encourage the development of a comprehensive street vending program that addresses the need to promote economic development, increase public access to healthy food options, minimize or eliminate food deserts in underserved areas of the County, and promote innovative entrepreneurship and revitalization in furtherance of the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens and residents of Prince George’s County.
