A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE LOCAL IMPACT GRANT FUNDS MULTIYEAR PLAN for the purpose of transmitting the Local Impact Grant Funds Multiyear Plan to the County Council for review and approval.
Background
Pursuant to CB-88-2015, this resolution will approve the Local Impact Fund Multiyear Plan for FY 2026 - FY 2028. The spending plan details the planned use of video lottery terminal taxes from FY 2026 - FY 2028. The FY 2026 spending plan totals $12,274,300 and allots funding to the following areas: Employ Prince George’s ($2,300,000), Second District Community Development Corporation ($5,200,000), Prince George’s Community College ($2,000,000), Town of Forest Heights, $125,000, Local Development Council ($400,000), Boris Henson Foundation ($200,000), The Store House ($550,000), Strategic Housing Solutions ($120,000), Church of Adullam ($500,000), Victory Church International ($354,300), County Council Administration-audits and program services ($425,000), and including various Community Impact Grants ($2,249,300).
The proposed multi-year spending plan is subject to change based upon the County’s annual budget process.
