Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS, PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY POLICE CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (“PCEA”) SALARY SCHEDULE P, SCHEDULE OF PAY GRADES for the purpose of amending the Salary Plan of the County to reflect the terms of the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Prince George’s County Police Civilian Employees Association (“PCEA”).

Background

This is companion legislation to the Bill approving the collective bargaining agreement between Prince George's County, Maryland and the Prince George’s County Police Civilian Employees Association for Fiscal Year 2016.  This Resolution also reflects modifications to the agreement.  A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.

The proposed salary plan amendments were submitted to the County Council by the County Executive on February 26, 2016.  Pursuant to Section 903 of the Charter, if the Council fails to take final action on the proposed salary plan before April 26, 2016, the salary plan shall stand approved.
