Title

AN ACT CONCERNING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT - COUNCIL 67, (AFSCME), AFL-CIO, AND ITS AFFILIATED LOCALS 2462, 2735, 3389, AND 1170 for the purpose of approving the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s County, Maryland and Council 67, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), AFL-CIO, and its affiliated Locals 2462, 2735, 3389 and 1170 to provide for wages and certain other terms and conditions of employment for personnel classifications certified by the Prince George’s County Public Employee Relations Board.

 

Background

Prince George's County, Maryland and Council 67, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (“AFSCME”), AFL-CIO, and its affiliated Locals 1170, 2462, 2735 and 3389 have completed labor negotiations on a two-year labor agreement covering Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018.  This Bill is to adopt and approve the referenced collective bargaining agreement in accordance with Section 16-233(f) of the Personnel Law.  A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.

 

Note: CB-32-2017 is retroactively effective to July 1, 2016.
