Title
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING TEMPORARY COUNTY-BASED BUSINESS CERTIFICATION for the purpose of temporarily considering local business with certain existing business certifications to be certified County-based businesses for the purposes of Section 10A-101(13) of the Code.
Background
The County Council enacted CB-17-2011 on November 15, 2011 which required local firms that already have existing recognized business certifications to complete a new County-based business certification process.  The proposed legislation would allow businesses to register temporarily to obtain certification as a County-based business if the business meets certain criteria.  The legislation will expire on July 1, 2015.
