Title

AN ACT CONCERNING PROCUREMENTS for the purpose of amending provisions of Subtitle 10A regarding administrative procedures, award of contracts, special provisions and economic development; generally relating to procurements subject to Subtitle 10A.

Background

The proposed legislation is amending Subtitle 10A of the Prince George’s County Code.  The amends would clarify sections regarding administrative procedures, award of contracts, special provisions and economic development.

10/17/2017:  Prior to introduction, CB-115-2017 (DR-2) was amended on the floor as follows:

On page 11, line 25, add “The report shall include the number and nature of the waivers for contracts over Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) approved by the Chief Administrative Officer pursuant to 10A-159.01.”

CB-115-2017 (DR-3) was introduced.
